The 8.5G~11.7G OEO Converter (3R Repeater) is a high-performance, transparent fiber-to-fiber media converter used to regenerate (re-amplify, re-shape, re-time) 10Gbps optical signals, including 10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, and Fiber Channel. These devices enable long-distance transmission and wavelength conversion using SFP+ or XFP modules.

The 8.5G~11.7G OEO Converter (3R Repeater) functions as a fiber media converter or fiber repeater for long-distance transmission between fiber-to-fiber 10Gbps equipment. Designed for network backbone applications (SAN, LAN, MAN), it supports SDH/SONET STM-64/OC-192, 10G fiber channel, 10G Ethernet, and more. Suitable for telecommunication rooms, R&D laboratories, data centers, and similar environments. Features 1310nm/1550nm/CWDM/DWDM optical wavelength conversion and supports loopback functionality.
